Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has revealed that his principal’s intention is to support President Muhammadu Buhari to till the end of their tenure.
Osinbajo’s aide said his principal has no intention of contesting to be president in 2023 as speculated by many.
According to Akande during an Instagram Live interview yesterday with the publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, Osinbajo is entirely consumed with serving the country by supporting President Buhari to the end of their second term in office.
Naija News, however, recalls that Jackson Ude, the blogger who made some strong allegations against Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has dared him stepped down from his office as Vice President and then sue him.
The blogger had accused Osinbajo of collecting N4 billion from Ibrahim Magu, the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
