Few hours after the end to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election in Ondo State, some delegates are protesting the alleged introduction of additional 17 additional delegates.
Naija News learnt that the protest enveloped International Culture and Events Center, popularly known as the Dome, venue of the governorship primary of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) as sorting of ballot papers has begun.
From the names in the ballot sorted so far, it is clear the race is between Eyitayo Jegede and Deputy Governor, Hon Agboola Ajayi.
However, As of the time of filing this report, the chairman of the primary election, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, and other committee members were in a closed-door meeting with aspirants to discuss whether to accept the list or not.
There are eight aspirants vying to be the flag bearer of the PDP.
Meanwhile, Naija news had earlier reported that two men were caught at the venue of the Party’s primary election with ballot papers already thumb-printed for the deputy governor of the state, Agboola Ajayi.
