Gunmen Attack Prison Officials In Plateau, Free Six High Profile Suspects

Gunmen have attacked a convoy of Nigeria Correctional Service officials near Plateau High Court, Barkin Ladi, freeing six criminal suspects.

Naija News understands the convoy was conveying 14 suspects charged with various degrees of crimes ranging from murder to kidnapping and rape.

According to an eyewitness quoted by The Nation, the convoy arrived at the court premises, and the gunmen, who had laid ambush by the entrance, opened fire and freed the suspects unchallenged.
