NCDC Reports 591 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported five hundred and ninety-one confirmed new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The health agency on Friday, July 24 confirmed the new figures on its verified official account on the microblogging site, Twitter.

According to the NCDC, the newly reported cases were found as follows;

Edo-23
Ogun-14

Kaduna-10
Katsina-6
Borno-4
Ekiti-3

The above development brings the overall cases of the dreaded disease in Nigeria to 39,539 while a total of 16,559 people have been discharged from the novel virus.

So far in Nigeria, 845 related COVID-19 deaths have been recorded, Naija News understands.
