Kano Police Rescues Man Locked Up By Dad For 15 Years
A man allegedly held captive by his father for 15-years has been rescued by the Kano State Police Command.
Abdullahi Kiyawa, spokesman of the Kano police command, said Ibrahim Lawan, the rescued man was locked in a room for 15 years, by his father’ Mallam Lawan who is a chief imam of a mosque in the state.
According to Kiyawa, the victim was rescued at Sheka Unguwar Fulani area of Kano.
He said the victim has now been admitted into a hospital to receive ttreatment while the matter is being investigation.
Recall that three days ago, the command had rescued one Ahmad Aliyu, a man held for seven years, by his father and stepmother.
