Nigerians Compare Mali Military With Nigerian Military As Mali President Is Arrested
The President of Mali, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and his Prime Minister, Boubou Cisse, were on Tuesday detained in Bamako by mutiny Soldiers supporting the opposition.
The development has attracted reactions from various quarters with the African Union has condemned the arrest of President Ibrahim Keita and Prime Minister Boubou Cisse.
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, who took to Twitter to react, called for the immediate release of the duo.
However, the incident has seen some Nigerians compare the actions of the Malian military to the Nigerian Army Force.
While some praised the Malian military for their actions, others condemned them for arresting the president.

Ecowas and France are condemning the military action in Mali. They didn't condemn the corruption and intentional underdevelopment in Mali before now.
