Kogi: President Buhari Reacts To Lokoja Tanker Explosion
President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the petroleum tanker explosion which claimed about 23 lives in Lokojatanker explosion which claimed about 23 lives in Lokoja, Kogi State on Wednesday, September 23.
Naija News had reported that the people of Kogi were thrown in mourning on Wednesday after a collision between a tanker and a tricycle saw over 30 people burn alive.
According to reports, the incident occurred at about 9am on Wednesday. Naija News learnt that a family of six burnt to ashes in a Toyota Sienna bus during the incident.
Reacting to the sad event, president Buhari in a tweet by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, said the number of deaths recorded “represents another disturbing and saddening incident in the litany of tragedies that have befallen our country.”
