EndSARS: Tope Akinyode Sues Adamu Garba Over Jack Dorsey’s Lawsuit

A Nigerian lawyer Tope Akinyode has filled a court proceeding against Ex-Presidential aspirant Adamu Garba for suing Twitter CEO.

According to Lawyer Tope, Twitter CEO Jack’s support for the Nigeria is in a good cause.

Having been consulted by friends & colleagues, I’ve filed court processes to challenge @adamugarba’s lawsuit against @jack & @Twitter. Jack’s support for Nigeria’s cause is commendable. We’ll protect our freedom of expression & resist the move to ban Twitter in Nigeria

Naija News had reported that Garba, a former Presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), sued the Twitter CEO, for $1bn  for supporting the #EndSARS campaign.

This online news platform recalls that the Twitter CEO lent his voice to the struggle last week by tweeting #EndSARS and thereafter, verified four front liners of the campaign. He also called for donations to help the campaign.
