NCDC Records 72 New Cases Of Coronavirus
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced seventy-two (72) new cases of the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
Naija News reports that the NCDC made this known in a post on its Twitter page on Monday.
According to the NCDC, Lagos State recorded the highest number of confirmed cases, with 51 new infections.
Ogun and Kaduna States, as well as the FCT, recorded six, four and three new cases respectively.
Niger, Ondo and Plateau had two each, while Katsina and Oyo States had one each.
According to the NCDC, 63,036 is the total confirmed case of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
59,328 have been discharged with 1,147 deaths recorded so far.
