The Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Elisha Abbo has been caught on camera in a viral social media video beating up a man.
The latest case of physical assault by the Senator comes about two years after he was caught on tape beating up a saleswoman in an Abuja sex toy shop.
In 2019 after the sex toy shop incident, the lawmaker was dragged before a Zuba Magistrate Court by the police on a one-count charge of assault. The case was however dismissed by the Judge.
However, Warmate (the sex toy shop) in a separate civil suit at the FCT High Court, got a conviction against the Senator who was ordered by Samira Bature, the presiding judge to pay the sum of N50m to the assaulted woman.
Abbo has since declared the intention to appeal the judgment at a higher court.
The latest video of Elisha Abbo slapping another citizen is said to have happened in his home state of Adamawa and has been making rounds on the internet, bringing back memories of the 2019 sex toy shop incident also involving the Senator.
