APC Holds Emergency NEC Meeting In Aso Rock
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday held an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the Aso Rock presidential villa in Abuja.
Some NEC members are attending virtually while others are physically present at the Villa, even as the party had earlier explained that COVID-19 protocols will be upheld at the meeting hence the virtual nature of the meeting.
Naija News understands that the meeting is expected to review the party’s position and set agenda for their next move.
President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Obasanjo lead the list of party leaders at the meeting.
Also physically present at the meeting are the National Chairman of the party’s Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, as well as other members of the party’s NEC.
Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila are also in attendance physically.

Meanwhile, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has vowed not to lead the party again if he’s given a second chance.
The former governor of Edo State however stated that he was proud of the strides made by the party’s national working committee (NWC) under his leadership.
