Tennessee Nurse Passes Out After Receiving COVID-19 Vaccine
Minutes after receiving an injection of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine, a Tennessee nurse passed out in front of the cameras while holding a press conference.
On December 17, a nurse at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed out a few minutes after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against Covid-19, during the press conference following the injection.
In a video broadcast by WTVC-9, the health worker can be seen declaring “feeling really dizzy” and then passing out as she walks away from the microphone. She was cushioned in her fall by two other hospital workers standing near her.

Tiffany Dover quickly recovered and spoke again at the microphone of WTVC-9. “It hit me all of a sudden, I could feel it coming. I felt a little disoriented, but I feel good now, and the pain in my arm is gone,” she said. She also said that she frequently experiences vagal discomfort when she experiences pain.
Other medical staff at the hospital said the incident was unrelated to the ingredients of the vaccine, jointly developed by the American Pfizer and the German BioNTech and approved in early December by the US Food and Drug Administration . . “It’s a reaction that can happen very frequently with any vaccine or injection,” said hospital medical director Jesse Tucker. The United States Center for disease control and prevention also explains that vaccination can cause fainting and syncope in some patients.
