Senate Confirms Nababa As CG Correctional Service

The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday confirmed the nomination of Haliru Nababa as the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service.

Nababa’s confirmation followed the presentation of the report of the Chairman, Senate Committee on Interior, Senator Kashim Shettima, at plenary.

President Muhammadu Buhari had in a letter on February 23, asked the Senate to confirm the appointment of Nababa, as the CG of the NCS.

The President’s letter was read at plenary then by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan.
