Tottenham Has 13 COVID-19 Positive Cases – Conte

The manager of the English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur, Antonio Conte, on Wednesday confirmed that at least eight players and five staff have contracted COVID-19.
Tottenham Hotspur will clash with Ligue 1 side, Rennes in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
However, the rule of UEFA states that a match can’t be postponed, unless a club has fewer than 13 players available or no registered goalkeeper.
The EPL side needs a win against Rennes on Thursday to stand a chance of qualifying for the last 32.
Conte said, “The situation makes me very upset because the situation is serious.
“It’s contagious and there is a big infection. Now we are a bit scared because tomorrow we don’t know what will happen.”
Conte’s men are planning to approach the Premier League to postpone Sunday’s match against Brighton.
