The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the release of the list of candidates who qualified for the 2020 Police Constables Recruitment Training in Enugu State.

A statement released by the police command on Thursday through its spokesman, Daniel Ndukwe, congratulated the applicants and urged them to proceed to the designated police colleges in the state for recruitment training.

Naija News reports that the force also made available dates, venues and requirements for the next stage of the recruitment exercise.

Candidates are also warned not to fall victim to scammers during the exercise. They are advised to each visit the recruitment portal on www.policerecruitment.gov.ng to download the list and check their names or visit the command headquarters to view the list.

“The command wishes to inform residents of the state, who applied for 2020 Nigeria Police Force 10,000 Police Constables Recruitment and had successfully progressed to the medical screening stage of the exercise that the final list is out,” said the police statement.

“The final list also contains commencement dates, venue and requirements for the training.”

Qualified candidates from the state are also admonished to report to the Police College Oji-River, between January 10 and 15, 2022, for the commencement of their training, Naija News reports.

They are, however, charged not to appear at the training ground late.

“Two pairs of white round-necked T-shirts and short knickers; two pairs of white trainer shoes and white socks; two pairs of white sportswear; two pairs of white bed sheets; two white pillowcases; and face mask and hand sanitiser,” the police told the successful candidates to bring the items for the training.

The statement added, “Small food flask with two flat plates and a set of cutlery; one hoe, cutlass and broom each: one bucket and toiletries; hardcover notebook; (an) original copy of national identity card/slip; original copies of credentials, and four copies of passport photograph with white background.”

In his remark, Police Commissioner in the state, Lawal Abubakar, wished residents of the state, who qualified and have been listed, well ahead of the training.

The commissioner reminded the residents that the recruitment remained free without any financial obligation.
