2023: ‘Armchair Critic’ – Igbokwe Knocks Sowore Over Criticism Of Tinubu
A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has slammed media entrepreneur, Omoyele Sowore, over his recent criticism of presidential hopeful Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Following the return of the presidential hopeful on Sunday, Sowore took to his verified Facebook page on Monday to criticise the APC National Leader.
The publisher of SaharaReporters said Tinubu cannot fool Nigerians with his stylish look ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
He wrote: “You can fool some people sometimes, but you can’t fool all the people all the time. #WeCantContinueLikeThis.”
Reacting to Sowore’s criticism, Igbokwe, who is a staunch supporter of Tinubu, advised the former presidential candidate to stop the constant attack on the former governor.
The aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also urged Sowore to stop wasting his precious gift of time on levelling unsubstantiated allegations against Tinubu and other opposition leaders.
He said: “It is not good to continue to waste your precious gift of time on acrimony and division, pull him Down syndrome, armchair criticism, unsubstantiated allegations etc.”
Naija News reports that Tinubu returned to the country after spending 10 days in London, United Kingdom ahead of the party’s national convention slated for February 26.
In a post released by his media aide, Tunde Rahman said the former Lagos governor arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. He also photos of his arrival on his social media page.
Recall that Tinubu had in January declared his intention to contest in the 2023 presidential election after a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the released photos, the former governor had appeared in stylish wear, looking youthful and rejuvenated.
