Amara Kanu, wife of Nigeria’s legendary footballer, Kanu Nwankwo, has taken to social media to celebrate their first child, Sean Kanu who turned 17, on Valentine’s day.

The mother of three, wrote some sweet words on her timeline to celebrate her son, stating that he made her a proud mother.

She also thanked him for helping her to take care of the rest of the kids and making her happy.

Amara who is 35, got married at 18 and had her son, Sean at 19.

Sharing a throwback photo with her son alongside a recent one, the proud mother wrote: “Happy Birthday to my Valentine @sean.kanu. My first fruit. With you, it’s always and forever. Thank you so much for everything. I LOVE YOU.”
