Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer Reacts To Sunday Igboho’s Release
Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the release of Yoruba agitator, Sunday Igboho.
Recall that Naija News earlier reported that The Benin Republic Government had released Ighoho to Yoruba Leader, Professor Banji Akintoye.
This was made known in a statement to Naija News on Monday by the Communications Secretary to Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Mr. Maxwell Adeleye.
The Activist was released on Monday to a Yoruba Leader and Leader of the Umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Akintoye and a French Language Expert/Deputy Alana of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Wale Adeniran.
Reacting to the development, Ejimakor stated via Twitter that the release of Igboho has shown that self determination is not a crime. He demanded that the federal government and the court must reverse its injustice against Kanu.
According to him: “The release of Igboho by Benin Republic has validated the universal law that #SelfDetermination is neither a crime, nor an extraditable offense.
“If it is, Igboho would’ve been extradited to Nigeria.
“If Nigeria fails to reverse its injustice to #NnamdiKanu, its courts must.”
