Borno: ISWAP Kills Nine Boko Haram In Rivalry Clash
Fighters of the Islamic terrorist group led by late Abubakar Shekau (Boko Haram) on Tuesday clashed with men of the Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP).
The rivalry clash between the terrorist group in Abadam local government area of Borno State led to the death of nine insurgents.
According to security experts, Zagazola Makama, the clash between the insurgents happened less than 48 hours after ISWAP fighters attacked another set of terrorists in Dikwa, killing about 17 of them.
Naija News gathered that ISWAP attacked Boko Haram fighters on Tuesday, in Yauma Wango village which triggered a fierce gun battle.
It was reported that the ISWAP terrorist during the ambushed overpowered Boko Haram men, killing several of their fighters and seizing their weapons, gun trucks and motorcycles.
A further report had it that ISWAP fighters were earlier deployed to Jabullam and Yauma Wango in about 16 gun trucks to stage an attack on Malam Fatori and Damasak towns.
Recall that the clash between the terrorist group started after Senior ISWAP Commander, Abou Sadiqou Buorubouru and several other Mujahideens were killed in an ambushed by Boko Haram in the fringes of Mandara Mountain.
