BREAKING: Seven Worshippers Killed As Bandits Attack Kaduna Mosque

Bandit terrorists have killed one trader and injured many others during an attack on a market in Chibani, a community in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State on Friday.

According to Daily Trust, the bandits attacked the market around 12pm when the market was filled to its capacity and operated for about three hours.

A resident, Shehu Abubakar, said that the terrorists carted away food items after the traders fled from the market.

It was learnt that the terrorists also invaded the Mararaban-Daudu community, also in the same local government and kidnapped residents.

He said: “We don’t know where many traders are right now because they haven’t started returning. A lot of goods were destroyed, apart from the ones they stole.

“Up till 5pm, traders had not gone back to the market to pick their goods. One person was killed and his remains taken to the police station at Sarkin Pawa.”

Meanwhile, the Emir of Bungudu in Zamfara State, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, has narrated his ordeal at the hands of bandit terrorists.

Naija News reports that the monarch was abducted by daredevil bandits along the Kaduna-Abuja road in September 2021.

HRH Attahiru was, however, released after spending 32 days in the custody of his captors.

In an interview with Daily Trust on Saturday, Attahiru said he was going to an event when his convoy was attacked by the bandits, adding that the terrorists killed some persons and kidnapped him and others.
