Rare Photos Reveal The Type Of Food President Buhari Eats To Break Ramadan Fast

Pictures of the kind of meals President Muhammadu Buhari eats to break the Ramadan fast have surfaced on social media.

Particularly, the one on the evening of Wednesday, April 20 has now been made available to the public.

Pictures of the president eating his food are quite a rare sight to behold as his private activities are often kept from the public for security purposes.

However, a presidential media aide, Buhari Sallau (personal assistant to the President on broadcast media) shared pictures of the president enjoying some of his favourite meals with leaders of the National Assembly on the particular date.

The food which came in an array of appetizers consisted of bananas, apples, berries, bean cake (called Akara in Yoruba and Kose in Hausa), and bottles of water.

Those present at the dinner include Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege.

Also, Chief of Staff Ibrahim Gambari and Femi Adesina, another presidential media aide, were also present.

In other news, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has felicitated Muslims in the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.

He congratulated the Muslim ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting.

The Governor also prayed to Almighty Allah to accept their acts of worship, abstinence and charity that characterized the fasting period.

El-Rufai in a statement issued by his special adviser on Media and Communication, Muyiwa Adekeye, urged the citizens to keep hope alive amidst the security challenges bedevilling the state.
