Reactions As Plane Occupies Lagos Road
Reactions have trailed the presence of a plane spotted around the airport area on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway in Lagos State on Tuesday.
Naija News earlier reported that the big plane caused heavy traffic on the road as motorists could not pass easily and pedestrians also stood by to watch.
Reacting to the development, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said no plane crash was recorded in the state contrary to several trending reports on social media.
In a statement on its official Twitter account, FAAN said the plane was sold by the original owner to a buyer and was been transported to its final destination.
The authority, however, urged residents of Lagos to disregard reports about a plane crash.
However, some Nigerians have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the presence of the big plane on a major road in Lagos.
See some of the reactions below.
