Video: Frank Edwards Reveals What May Happen To Peter Obi If He Tries To Step Down From Presidential Race

Nigerian gospel singer and producer, Frank Edwards has taken to social media to share a video clip of what may likely happen to Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi if he makes attempt to step down from the 2023 presidential race.

Naija News understands that are speculations that Obi’s new party is making moves to form a merger with the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) where former Governor of Kano State Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is a presidential flag-bearer.

It was, however, unclear who will step down for who if the merger eventually happened as speculated in some quarters.

Taking to his Instagram page to react to the speculations, Edwards shared a funny video describing what Nigerian Youths are doing and may likely will do to Obi if he dares step down from the race.

Naija News understands that the video clip shared by the singer was extracted from a Nollywood movie.

In the movie, actor Mike Ezuruonye who was a Reverend Father was seen declining to rule his native kingdom owing to his ministry, but the elders didn’t agree with him.

The elders were captured in the movie forcefully enthroning Mike with the royal garment, giving him the mantle of authority, and began hailing him as their king, while Mike Ezuruonye was still objecting.

Sharing the funny clip, Edwards captioned: “I think this is what the youths might do to Peter Obi if he ever thinks of stepping down.”
