Osun Poll: ‘It Is Going To Be A Landslide If The Election Is Free And Fair’ – Adeleke
The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) governorship candidate Ademola Adeleke has expressed optimism about winning the Osun State election, scheduled for July 16th.
Speaking during an interview on Arise TV Adeleke claimed he would win in a landslide if the election is conducted free and fair.
He also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of bringing thugs from Lagos to disrupt the election, adding they are shooting everywhere in the state.
According to the former lawmaker, the state government denied the opposition party access to facilities where they had planned to hold the mega rally on Thursday.
He added that the people of Osun State have rejected the ruling party (APC).
He said: “APC has brought thugs from Lagos State shooting anyhow in the state.
“It is going to be a landslide if the election is free and fair. People have rejected APC in Osun State”.
Speaking on why he was absent from the governorship debate, Adeleke said he was busy with his campaign.
