Seyi Makinde Sparks Mixed Reactions For Engaging In US Marathon With Daughter

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has caused a stir on social media with photos from a Marathon held in the United States of America. 

This comes after the governor via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday shared photos from the marathon which he participated in along with his daughter, Feyi.

According to the governor, he finished the Berkeley, Half Marathon with his daughter under 3 hours.

He captioned the photos, ”Just finished running the Berkeley Half Marathon with my daughter, Feyi, in San Francisco. Happy to make it to the finish line in under 3 hours.”

Reacting to the photos, some Nigerians stormed the comment section of the governor to commend him for finding time to spend time with his family while others called the governor for being insensitive and posting photos while many youths in his state wallow in unemployment and struggle.
