London To Lagos Biker, Adeyanaju Begins Another Trip

Nigerian professional motorcyclist and president-elect of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, Kunle Adeyanju, has again commenced another adventure trip through African countries.

Naija News recalls that Adeyanju, popularly known as Lion Heart, commenced a trip in April 2022, from London to Lagos State, Nigeria.

Adeyanju’s trip in April was purposely to create awareness and raise donations for the ‘Kick-out the Polio Mission.’ The Nigerian citizen set a record of crossing at least 14 countries to arrive in Nigeria.

On Friday, December 16, 2022, Adeyanju announced that he had commenced another trip to last through the festive period.

Taken to his Twitter page, Adeyanju gave details of his adventure. He said: “Today, I commenced my XMAS/New Year holiday trip.

“It is an adventure that will take me through.

“Benin Republic: Port Novo & Cotonou.

“Togo: Lome, Nkpalime (The mountain region in Togo).

“Burkina Faso: Ouagadougou & Bobo Diuolaso.

“Mali: Bamako

“Guinea Conakry: Conakry”

The Rotarian noted that the journey is going to be another exciting, educative and enriching adventure.

He said also that friends and bikers in these countries are gearing up for them to have exciting experiences exploring their cities and countryside on these rides.

“I am particularly excited about Ouagadougou and Conakry as I have not been there before, and I neither did I traverse through these cities on the #LondonToLagos ride.

“At Ouagadougou, my first interest is visiting the burial site of Thomas Sankara, our African Hero, so I can pay my respect. Also visit the house he grew up, thereafter go on to experience the beautiful land of the red earth and it’s beautiful people.

“For Guinea Conakry it is sheer curiosity, the Malian bikers have a yearly routine of visiting Conakry for a week holiday, & I have asked why Conakry every year when there are tons of places to visit and explore, their response always was “you will never understand until you visit,” he noted.

Adeyanju added: “They went, from experience they can confidently say Guinea Conakry is undoubtedly the land of the friendliest, warmest and most accommodating pillions in Africa… as a matter of fact Conakry is regarded as the land of the BEST PILLIONS in Africa.

“I want to find out for my knowledge if this claim is truly a fact. Anyway the whole adventure promises to be interesting, exciting and educative. And I am looking forward to meeting many more interesting people on this trip.”
