Northerners Have Proven That Atiku Will Inherit Buhari’s 12m Votes – Bwala
A spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign, Daniel Bwala, has said that the support shown to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate from the North has indicated that he would be inheriting President Muhammadu Buhari’s 12 million voters.
Naija News reports that the the All Progressives Congress (APC) had earlier stated that since President Buhari was not on the ballot in 2023, his 12 million voters in the North will give their votes to the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
However, Bwala in a post on his official Twitter page, argued that the ruling party would be shocked by the outcome of the 2023 presidential election scheduled for February 25.
He wrote “Anyone following the Katsina Rally? Nigeria sai Atiku/Okowa. Let me state here that Atiku has legally inherited the 12 million voters of Buhari.
” If their eyes are not clear now, they would by February 2023. Atiku is coming in 2023″.
APC Postpones Kaduna Town Hall Meeting
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has postponed its Town Hall Meeting, which was scheduled for Wednesday, 21st December 2022.
This is coming after the bandit attack on Kaura Local Government.
APC in reaction to the attack which left no fewer than 28 people dead and several others injured described the incident as shocking and unfortunate.
The terrorists on Sunday killed over 28 people in separate attacks in Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom in the Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
APC in a statement released through its Director General, Muhammad Bello, on Tuesday, commiserated with “Malagum and Sokwong communities in Kaura Local Government Area, where several people were reportedly killed.
“The unfortunate attack, which is coming on the heels of relative peace in Kaduna State, following ariel bombardment by the Nigerian Air Force and attacks by ground troops, has thrown Kaura Area Council, Kaduna State and the entire country into mourning over the loss of lives and properties.
“As a mark of respect to the souls of the deceased, and in mourning with the families of the bereaved, the Kaduna State APC Campaign Council has suspended its Town Hall Meeting, which was scheduled to (be held) on Wednesday, 21st December 2022.
“Campaign council is extending its condolence to the Kagoro traditional institution, the good people of Kaura Local Government Council and Kaduna State Government, over this unfortunate incident.
“For the repose of the souls of the dead and we hope that the perpetrators of this dastardly act will be apprehended and brought to book soon. We equally pray for a peaceful and prosperous Kaduna State and Nigeria in general.”
