Three Popular Nigerian Singers Feature In Obama’s 2022 Music List

Former United States President, Barack Obama, has shared his favourite music playlist for the year 2022 and it featured three top Nigerian singers.

Naija News reports that Grammy award-winning singer,  Burna Boy alongside Ayra Starr and Rema made it to the 2022 favourite music list of Obama.

Taking to his Twitter page, the former US president shared the music list which includes 25 songs from different singers across the world.

Some of the songs on the list include Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’, Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’ and Rema’s ‘Calm Down’.

He captioned the post: “I always enjoy sharing my end-of-year music playlist with all of you — and this year we heard a lot of great songs.”

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye has responded to those who criticized him for repeating the same set of clothing.

Reacting to some of the things expected of a celebrity, Okoye took to his Instagram stories to express ignorance about what people want from him.

In what seemed to be a sarcastic retort, the father of two said that the next thing is to change his boxers every minute and never repeat food again.

He wrote, “Wow! I didn’t know it’s a crime to repeat your clothes as per celeb level. Na to start to dey change boxers like Pampers be that ohh. Also, don’t ever repeat food again. Imagine eating rice once in a life time. Also I forgot, don’t repeat cars and houses. Maka celeb.”
