Bomb Explosion Kills Three In Kogi State
Fresh information has emerged that a bomb explosion reportedly killed three people in Kogi State.
Naija News gathered from Channels Tv that the bomb exploded in the Okene area of the state on Thursday morning.
It was learnt that the incident happened at the Oyinoyi’s Palace in the Okenne Local Government Area of the state.
This platform understands that this development is coming a few hours before the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari in the state today.
The president as gathered is meant to commission some projects in a few hours from now in the North-Central state.
Meanwhile, Naija News recalls that the president is expected to inaugurate some legacy projects across the state today December 29.
As contained in a statement signed by the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo in Lokoja, Thursday (today) was declared a public holiday in other for the people of the state to receive the president.
Fanwo in the statement said “The decision is to enable the people of the state to receive our President. We urge all our labour unions and security agencies to ensure full compliance.
“Government wishes to call on the people of the State to come out in mass to receive Mr President and display the hospitality we are known for as he will be commissioning life-touching legacy projects across the state.”
