Obasanjo Has Crashed Your Ambitions With Peter Obi Endorsement – Former APC Presidential Aspirant Fires Tinubu, Atiku

A former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general elections, Charles Udeogaranya, has called on the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubarkar and the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to drop their presidential bid with immediate effect.

According to the politician, former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has crashed the chances of Atiku or Tinubu winning the election beyond redemption.

Recall that Obasanjo had in an open letter on Sunday January 1st, 2023, endorsed Peter Obi for the 2023 Presidency.

Obasanjo had stated that Obi has an edge over other presidential candidates in terms of knowledge, discipline, vitality, and character. He, therefore, called on Nigerians to vote for the LP standard bearer in the February 25 presidential election.

Obasanjo buttressed his choice of Obi with the argument that the aspiration to lead the country should be a collective quest and not a personal or selfish ambition.

The former President described Obi as his mentee, stressing that he has respect for all the presidential candidates.

Reacting in a statement on Monday, Charles Udeogaranya noted that “Obasanjo is not just a two-time former president of Nigeria in both military and democratic governments but the champion of Nigerian unity from the bitter Nigerian civil war, a tall status and an impeccable experience that crowns him the sole right to attest to Nigerians and the global village the best candidate for the Nigerian presidency, IT IS FINISHED”.

The former APC presidential aspirant advised Peter Obi detractors and merchants of fear about Nigerian unity with a Nigerian president from the South-East, to look elsewhere as their falsehood and hateful propaganda have been shattered like an irredeemably broken bottle by Obasanjo’s endorsement of Peter Obi.

“An endorsement that is framed and firmly anchored with the best intelligence and vetting processes to determine who can best unify, safeguard and prosper Nigeria among the top 2023 presidential candidates if given power,” he added.
