The maid of the assassinated ex-staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kehinde Fatinoye has survived the incident that saw the whole family wiped out.

Recall that assailants on new year’s day had invaded their residence located within the Ibara Government Reservation Area (GRA), Abeokuta, and murdered Kehinde and his wife, Bukola.

The criminals after killing the couple decided to set their corpses on fire and kidnapped their son and a maid.

However, a day after the couple were buried in Abeokuta, the corpse of their son, Oreoluwa was discovered in a river.

It was learned that Oreoluwa was tied and thrown into a river along the Adigbe–Obada road in Abeokuta.

There had been reports that Oreoluwa was thrown into the river alongside the maid.

A developing story has it that their maid who claimed to have been thrown into the river survived.

The maid was said to have told residents of the community that he and Oreoluwa were taken to a river and pushed inside with their hands tied.

He, however, stated that he was lucky to have survived with minor injuries.

Tvc news revealed that the surviving maid identified the corpse of Oreoluwa at the river on Tuesday.

Police noted that an investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of the attack.
