Buhari Arrives Adamawa For APC Presidential Campaign Rally – [Video]
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Yola, Adamawa State capital, ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally scheduled for Monday, January 9, 2023.
The ruling party had confirmed earlier that the Nigerian leader would lead the flagbearer of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other members of the Presidential Campaign Council in the electioneering event in Adamawa today.
Tinubu, his running mate, Senator Kashim Shetimma, and other party chieftains had arrived in the state earlier, while President Buhari was received at the airport this morning by the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital Communications and Deputy Director, Special Media Projects/New Media, APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Bashir Ahmed, confirmed this via his verified Twitter page on Monday morning.
The likes of Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State, Kebbi state’s Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Zailani, and other party officials were at the airport to receive the president.
