Photos: List Of APC Leaders At Imo Presidential Campaign Rally

Some leaders and stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress(APC) attended the party’s presidential campaign in Imo State on Tuesday.

Naija News reports that a mammoth crowd was at the Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri, the venue of the rally to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari, APC flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, and other leaders of the ruling party to the state.

Some of the APC stalwarts present at the rally included President Buhari, Tinubu, his running mate, Kashim Shettima; APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and the Director-General of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong.

Others present at the event were Governors Hope Uzodinnma (Imo), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi) and Babajide Sanwo-olu (Lagos) and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.

Others were the APC Deputy Chairman (South), Emma Enekwu; former Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole, House of Representatives Deputy Speaker, Idris Wase and the APC National Woman Leader, Betta Edu.

Tinubu’s visit to the state comes three months after his controversial ‘Bala blu’ gaffe at a town hall with a group of businessmen and stakeholders in the state.

The former Lagos State governor committed the gaffe in his presentation while trying to explain his plans to promote the country’s economy for businesses to thrive.

Although the Director of Strategic Communication of his campaign team, Dele Alake, had defended that the viral “Bala blu” video was doctored.

Subsequent findings, however, countered Alake with facts that proved that Tinubu indeed made the gaffe while speaking with the group of businessmen.
