Two Shot Dead As Akpabio Wins LGA For APC

Two people were shot dead in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State during the presidential and national assembly elections on Saturday.

However, the senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom North West senatorial district, Godswill Akpabio won his local government area for the presidential candidate of his party, Bola Tinubu.

The APC in the local government area garnered 5,182 votes to beat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which had 4,733 and Labour Party which had 278.
