Tinubu Wins Presidential Election In Niger

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Niger State.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Tinubu defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party; Peter Obi of the Labour Party; and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in Niger State.

Tinubu won in 21 out of the 25 Local Governments while Atiku Abubakar won 3 Local Governments and Peter Obi of the Labour Party won in Suleja Local Government Area.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi is currently leading in the results released so far for the presidential election in Benue State.

The Collation Officer, Prof Faruk Adamu Kuta, Vice Chancellor, of the Federal University of Technology Minna, announce the results from each local government.
