Pictures from the presentation of  Certificates of Return to Senators elected to the 10th National Assembly have emerged.

Naija News reports that the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, presided over the presentation at the National Collation Centre (the International Conference Centre) in Abuja on Tuesday.

Recall that the Senatorial elections were conducted across states on the same day as the presidential election on February 25.

According to INEC, 98 out of 109 Senators-elect have emerged, while the remaining seats will be filled in subsequent supplementary elections.

However, in terms of party representation for the 10th Assembly, the All Progressives Congress (APC) won 57 senatorial seats, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won 29, the Labour Party (LP) got six, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) got two each, just as All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Young Progressive Party (YPP) got one seat each.
