Tinubu Reacts To APC National Welfare Secretary’s Death
President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has described the deceased National Welfare officer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Friday Nwosu, as a dedicated party man.
Naija News reports that Nwosu died at a hospital in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday night. The former governorship aspirant was an APC leader in Abia state until his death.
In a statement on Friday by his media aide, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, the president-elect expressed sadness over the death of the party chieftain.
Tinubu stated that the late Nwosu was dedicated to the affairs of the party and a leader who paid his dues for the success of the party.
He prayed to God to give succour to his family, adding that his sacrifices and contributions to the growth of democracy and our party will never be forgotten,
Tinubu said: “I received with shock and grief the news of the sudden death of Chief Nwosu. He was a dedicated party man and a leader who paid his dues for the success of the party.
“I join friends and family in grieving this sudden loss of a man who had worked so well for our great party.
“His sacrifices and contributions to the growth of democracy and our party will be cherished for a long time.”
