Wike Summons Emergency Security Meeting Over Insecurity In Abuja

The son of Kaduna State Governor, Bashir El-Rufai has express optimism that the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, could be the messiah the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) needs.

Naija News reports that Bashir El-Rufai took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to opine that Wike might be the solution to the problems of the PDP.

The governor’s son said he (Wike) could be the anointed messiah that will revive the PDP’s lost glory.

He said despite everything, Wike stood by his principles for the sake of democracy in the country.

The junior El-Rufai said : “Wike could turn out to be the anointed messiah that will revive the PDP’s lost glory.

“He stood by his principles & for the sake of the health of our democracy, the opposition should be robust. I truly wish him & his team of patriots well.”

This online news platform recalls that Wike was the leader of the five aggrieved PDP governors popularly known as the G5.

He and his group refused to work for their party’s flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.

Wike and his group had insisted that the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu should resign his position for a southern candidate. They claimed they stood for justice and fairness because the PDP leadership didn’t respect the zoning formula and did not support power shift.
