INEC Postpones Collation As Wike’s PDP Leads In Rivers Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the collation of results for the Rivers State Governorship election till 10 am on Monday.

The state returning officer, Akpofure Rim-Rukeh, made this known on Sunday in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Naija News reports that so far, 17 out of the 23 LGAs have been collated with the PDP winning in all collated LGAs.

As it stands, Siminalayi Fubara of Peoples Democratic Party and Governor Nyesom Wike’s annointed candidate leads after the announcement of results from 15 out of 23 LGAs.
