Zulum Leads Borno Governorship Election With 7 LGAs

The Governor of Borno State and the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Babagana Umara Zulum is leading the governorship election conducted on Saturday.

Naija News reports that in seven out of the 27 local government areas announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Zulum is leading the exercise.

INEC Returning Officer, Professor Jude Rabo, made this known while giving a breakdown of the election results at the state collation center in Maiduguri, the state capital.

The local governments so far announced are Kaga, Magumeri, Mafa, Dikwa, Jere, Ganzai and Guzamala.
