Residents of Kano State have cast their votes for the next political leader to govern the state for the next four years after Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

After all said and done, the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Abba Kabir Yusuf, has been declared the winner of the Kano state governorship election.
NNPP was declared the winner over the All Progressives Congress by the returning officer in Kano, Ahmad Dokko Ibrahim.

NNPP Wins 2 LGAs
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has won the Rano and Rogo local government areas declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Naija News reports that NNPP polled 18559 in Rogo to beat APC who got 11112. The NNPP also garnered 18040 to beat APC who got 17090
