El-Rufia’s Son Reveals What To Do With Peter Obi’s Leaked Conversation In North
Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has revealed plans to disseminate the leaked audio conversation of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and general overseer of the Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, in the North.
Naija News reports that the senator-elect made this known via Twitter following the confirmation of the leaked audio by a spokesman of the Obi-Datti presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo.
According to Bashir, he would ensure that the audio is translated into the Hausa language and disseminated in many areas in the North.
He wrote: “Kenneth Okonkwo, the highly respected National Spokesman of the Labour Party has confirmed it was his Oga, Obi in that recording begging for Christian votes in an election he termed a “religious war”.
“I pledge to do all in my small power to ensure that recording of Saint Obi is translated to Hausa & disseminated in as many areas in the North as possible having now been confirmed by his highly respected Spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo.
“I am working in ensuring Muslims I personally know remain calm in the midst of this unwarranted attack & dismissal by the Labour Party. We also have feelings, please.”
Peter Obi Reacts To Alleged Conversation With Bishop Oyedepo
Meanwhile, Peter Obi has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of sponsoring propaganda to discredit him.
Obi stated this while reacting to an alleged audio recording conversation between himself and the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo.
He accused the APC of being unrepentant in sponsoring fake news and propaganda.
The trending audio had alleged that Obi on the eve of the presidential election, asked Bishop Oyedepo to mobilize support for him from the church.
However, reacting to the purported leaked audio conversation through a statement from the Head, Obi Datti Media Office, Diran Onifade, in Abuja, on Sunday, the LP presidential candidate said the mischieve planned by those behind the tape can’t work.
While further denying the audio, Obi said the APC wants to retain itself in power by spreading fake audio files about him.
