Video: Founder Of FCMB, Subomi Balogun Buried Amidst Tears

The remains of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) founder Subomi Balogun was buried on Saturday, 8th July, 2023  in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Preparations for what is expected to be a grand event began shortly after the billionaire businessman died in London on May 18 at the age of 89.

Following his death, dignitaries on Tuesday held a night of tributes organized in memory of the late founder.

Shortly thereafter, a service of songs was held at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In the videos shared on Instagram by media mogul and People Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Dele Momodu showed private security personnel, horse riders and others at the deceased’s famous Otunba Tunwase Court in Ijebu.

The funeral service was held at Cathedral Church of Our Saviour in Ijebu Ode before a private interment at his residence, followed by a reception.
