List Of Dignitaries At Gov Zulum Son’s Wedding In Borno Today

On Saturday (today), Borno State’s capital city, Maiduguri, received the presence of top dignitaries including politicians, public office holders, and religious and traditional rulers as Governor Babagana Zulum’s first son was joined in marriage to the love of his life.

Naija News understands that Nigeria’s former, President Muhammadu Buhari, stood as representative of the groom family while incumbent Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, stood for the bride.

Reports claimed that twelve gold coins were paid as bride price by the groom to fulfil the legal right in Islam.

Dignitaries that attended the luxurious wedding include the Speaker House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, governors of Katsina; Malam Dikko Radda, Yobe; Mai Mala Buni, Jigawa; Umar Namadi, Kwara, Abdurrahman Abdulrazak.

Others include the governor of Gombe; Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya; Zamfara, Dauda Lawan Dare; Adamawa; Umaru Ahmed Fintiri; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribado, and former governors and ministers of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Naija News learnt that the wedding Fatia took place at the Maiduguri central mosque within the palace of Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Elkanemi.
