Kaduna Governor Visits Ex-Vice President, Sambo [Photos]
The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has visited Nigeria’s former Vice President, Namadi Sambo.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday evening, Sani said he visited the former Governor of the state at his residence, adding that he was warmly received.
The governor said they discussed a wide range of issues, especially governance and security issues in Kaduna State and the nation in general.
Sani, therefore, promised to continue to consult the former vice president and other key stakeholders as his administration strives to make Kaduna State a model of development in the country.
He wrote: “Today, I paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria’s former Vice President and one-time Governor of Kaduna State, Arc. Namadi Sambo, GCON.
“I was warmly received by the elder statesman. We shared thoughts on a wide range of issues, especially governance and security issues in Kaduna State.
“I thank the former Vice President Namadi Sambo for granting me the audience and his counsel. I will continue to consult him and other key stakeholders as we strive to make Kaduna State a model of development in Nigeria.”
