Burna Boy Features Seyi Vibez As Only Nigerian On Upcoming Album

Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy has taken to his social media handles to share a  tracklist for his upcoming album titled ‘I Told Them’.

The Grammy Award winner on Monday published the 16 songs with three already released songs – Sittin’ on Top of the WorldBig 7, and Talibans II – featuring on it.

Amongst talented acts adopted on the album is Seyi Vibez, who was featured alongside international acts 21 Savage, Dave, J. Cole, and Byron Messia.

Burna Boy will release the album on August 25.

The 32-year-old has been nominated six times for the Grammy Awards, winning one in 2021 for Best Global Music Album with his project Twice As Tall.

Spyro Slammed Over Comments On Secular Music

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, came under heavy criticism over his condemnation of worldly artist and music.

Naija News reports that the ‘Who’s Your Guy’ crooner, during a live podcast ‘The honest Bunch’, said that some fans internalizes harmful lyrics from musicians without knowing how dangerous it influences their morals and lifestyle.

The singer, who vowed to influence the secular music industry for God no matter how long it would take, noted that these fans sings this worldly songs and wonder why they are jacked to want to perform fraud.

He said the devil doesn’t come with two horns but via what people allow into our systems.

Reacting to the singer’s statement, prominent Nigerian music journalist, Joey Akan via the microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter on Monday called out Spyro for exhibiting hypocrisy.

According to the award winning journalist, the singer despite his ceaseless attack on ‘worldly singers and their lyrics,’ he  never fails to dine/collaborate with them.
