Victor Osimhen Snubs Teammates After Making Napoli’s Squad

Victor Osimhen is not happy at Napoli this season as the tension between him and other members of the club continues to heighten.

Recall that the world got to know that all is not well between him and Napoli’s coach Rudi Garcia when he shouted at the coach for substituting him in their 0-0 draw with Bologna last weekend.

During the game, he had the golden opportunity to put his team forward from the penalty spot but he missed the kick to the dismay of the club’s fans.

If he had scored that goal, it would have been his first goal in four games in all competitions. The 24-year-old Nigeria international has scored just three games in 6 games in all competitions so far this season.

Amidst his struggles to score goals, Napoli mocked him on their official TikTok page for missing a penalty.

Due to the post, Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda threatened to sue the club even though the post has been deleted.

Amidst that, Osimhen has been named in the squad that will play the mid-week Serie A game against Udinese at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona at 7:45 p.m. later tonight, September 27.

When he arrived at the team’s hotel ahead of the game earlier today, Victor Osimhen was captured snubbing his teammates Diego Demme and Piotr Zieliński who extended his hands to shake the Nigerian star.

Osimhen only shook hands with the team manager Giuseppe Santoro before he walked into the team’s hotel alone.

Only time will tell if coach Garcia will start the Nigeria international in the Serie A game against Udinese after this gesture which confirmed that Osimhen is not currently happy at the club.

Recall that Osimhen helped Napoli to win the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years last season with 26 goals and five assists in 32 league games.
