The head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Jose Peseiro, added a new foreign groomed player, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru to his squad for the October international break.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was born in Hamburg, Germany on February 6, 2001, to Nigerian parents. He and his family moved to England when he was still a child, hence, he was groomed in the United Kingdom.

Due to this, he had the chance to play for Germany’s national team, the Three Lions of England, or the Super Eagles of Nigeria. The fact that coach Peseiro invited the 22-year-old midfielder for the friendly game against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique means the youngster has agreed to play for his ancestral home.
