Atiku Holds World Press Conference Over Tinubu’s Certificate Controversy
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, is currently holding a World Press Conference over the controversy surrounding the certificate of President Bola Tinubu.
Naija News reports that the press conference is taking place at the Shehu Musa ‘Yar’adua Auditorium, Wuse 2 in Abuja.
During the press conference, Atiku is expected to share a deposition of a forged Diploma Certificate of the Chicago State University (CSU) submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by President Bola Tinubu.
The former Vice President is also expected to display a Certified True Copy of the deposition of the CSU Registrar, Caleb Westberg, on Wednesday.
Atiku would also display the audio of the deposition and the conclusions of the deposition by a United States Federal Judge, Nancy Maldonado.
Naija News reports that Atiku is challenging the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 election and the affirmation of Tinubu’s victory by the election petition tribunal on September 6.
The former Vice President continues to allege that Tinubu’s academic records are fraught with discrepancies and forgeries.
His request for the US court for the Northern District of Illinois to compel CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records has since been granted, and the records are now in the public domain.
Atiku had said he would use the academic records unveiled by CSU in his litigation against Tinubu at the Supreme Court.
