‘Lionel Messi Releases His Full Schedule From October To February’
Lionel Messi is indeed not leaving Inter Miami on loan this year or in January, as he has released his schedule that covers October to February.
After Inter Miami failed to qualify for the Major League Soccer play-offs, speculations started making the rounds that Lionel Messi would move to Saudi Arabia or his childhood club FC Barcelona on loan pending the time the 2024 MLS season commences.
Earlier today, Naija News reported that a Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague made it clear that the 36-year-old Argentina international is not planning to on loan to any club.
“Messi will have around one month’s holiday, like other footballers. So forget any move to Saudi or similar,” Balague said as quoted by the BBC.
After FC Cincinnati defeated Inter Miami to end their dream of making it to MLS play-offs last weekend, Inter Milan’s coach, Tata Martino also confirmed that the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner is not planning to return to FC Barcelona on loan.
He said: “That’s surprising. I know nothing about that. If you’re telling me that he’s going to go visit Barcelona on vacation, yes, it’s probable, but I don’t have any information on the other part.”
